documenting women’s golf, differently.

Setting the standard before and after the round.

A NEW STANDARD

The PARLO documents how golf environments shape women's experience of the game. We preserve the landscapes, hospitality, and moments of belonging that traditional golf reviews have rarely considered, before and after the round.

Our lens and leading perspective is through the eyes of PARLO founder, a Black queer women and golfer. Over time, the PARLO Archive becomes both a collection of courses around the United States but one of the most comprehensive records of women’s lived experiences in the game of golf, centering Black and Black queer women.

Every entry becomes a contribution to a larger understanding of how we embody our full selves in sports. We notice things the golf industry has rarely thought to consider. The PARLO Archive holds onto what is noticed and will continue influencing the future at the intersection of women’s golf and Black women LGBTQ+ culture.
